Usually, yes, but the film has to suit the glass. Some combinations of film and sealed unit can raise thermal stress, so we check the glass type and pick a film rated for it rather than applying the same product everywhere.
Quality interior film lasts many years and generally carries a manufacturer warranty. Clean it as you would the glass, using a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner - no scouring pads or blades.
